BUILT to be LIVED IN

What we hear

Most remodels go wrong in the same four places.

Ask anyone who has lived through one. These are the stories we hear at almost every first visit, and how we handle each one.

  1. He stopped returning my calls.

One person, start to finish. Your project lead's cell number is on your quote. The same person picks up from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

  2. It went way over budget.

A fixed written quote. We open walls and check the attic before we price it. If we missed something we should have caught, that is on us, not you.

  3. It took twice as long as they said.

A schedule in writing. It comes with your quote. Kitchens usually take 6 to 10 weeks, baths 3 to 5. You get a photo update every Friday.

  4. We lived in a dust storm for months.

A clean site, every evening. Zip walls, floor protection, and a broom-clean house before we leave. For kitchens, we set up a temporary sink in another room.

Before & after

Drag the line. See the difference.

Same room, same camera spot. Only the remodel changed.

The kitchen after the remodel: white oak cabinets, a limestone island with stools, a plaster range hood and open shelves. The same kitchen before: orange oak cabinets, laminate counters, an almond range and a wallpaper border. BeforeAfter

    Final walkthrough

We walk every inch with you. The last payment waits until you are happy.

They gave us a price in writing, and that was the price. I kept waiting for the catch. There wasn't one.

Renee and Paul · Kitchen remodel

Same three guys every morning at 7:30. They swept up every night before they left.

Marcus · Primary bath

Our addition was done a week early. I didn't know that could happen.

Questions

What people ask before they call.

Can we keep living at home during the remodel?

Most families do. We seal off the work area, protect your floors, and leave the house broom clean every night. During a kitchen remodel we set up a temporary sink and counter in another room.

What if you find a problem behind the walls?

We look before we quote: moisture readings, the attic, the crawlspace. If something truly hidden turns up, you get photos and a written price before any extra work starts. Nothing is added without your signature.

How long does a kitchen take?

Most kitchens take 6 to 10 weeks, baths 3 to 5 weeks, and additions 3 to 5 months. Your schedule comes with your quote.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull the permits, book the inspections, and meet the inspector. You never have to call the city.

How do payments work?

A deposit holds your spot on the schedule. After that, each payment is tied to a finished stage you can see with your own eyes. The last one comes after the final walkthrough.
